Is anyone actually working today?

I don't really work that hard, as some of you already know. But today is one of those day that I don't think hardly anyone is working really hard. Yes, it is the start of the baseball playoff. With two of the three game in the middle of the afternoon (one of them actually start at 10, if you are on the west coast), who cares about work. But with the beginning of the postseason, it means that the season is almost over. My year is about to enter the dark days. Waking up in the dark, walking home in the dark, and no more box score in the paper each morning. There is only one way to deal with it, really: drink more, more often, and I don't mean warm soda.
