One of my favorite dish growing up was stir fried rice cake. And the version I likethe most has preserved greens and bamboo shoots. But I have not seen those things often even in the Chinese markets here in Toronto. A while ago I started to make my own preserved green (kale), and yesterday I saw these beautiful winter bamboo shoots. So after a trip to the Korean market to get some fresh rice cake, here you have it.
