that time again

spring is probably my favorite time of the year as far as produce goes, especially since I am now far away from the land of amazing tomatoes.

I am not that into asparagus (that part that your pee smells like it bothers me somehow, don't ask me why), I like artichokes, ramps are awesome, but as some of you already know, I absolutely love fava beans. and this is currently my favorite way to eat them, in a salad with fennel, mint and maybe a little cured pork of some sort.

I have been so busy in the earlier part of the spring (with couple of trips away for work), I have not quite had my fill of them yet, I need to catch up.
