view from FRA tarmac

Just realized that I have not posted in like 3 months.  No, I am not dead, merely very busy.

Although I have not been to the city of Frankfurt, but in just the last two months, I have had flight connections at the airport there four times.  On the most recent one from FRA to YYZ, for some reason they parked the 747 far away from the gate, and use buses to take us from the terminal to the airplane to board.  

This was the first time I got to stand on the tarmac this close to a big ass jet plane, and we are not far from where they are taking off either.
